Position Summary: Technical sales position responsible for growing revenue and share in a territory through direct sales efforts and coordinated team support at existing and targeted accounts.

Candidate must be located in Mexico.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Achieve revenue objectives in Dymax adhesives and equipment at specified existing and target customers through both direct selling efforts and via sales partners. The Territory Manager is charged with the accountability of achieving budgeted sales targets through both direct selling efforts and our sales partners by soliciting new business from new and existing customers while managing existing customers in the specified territory.
  • Develop, implement, and execute an annual territory sales plan and revenue budget aligned with the territory’s opportunities and the company’s strategic objectives
  • Originate and implement ideas for sales and share growth
  • contact potential and existing customers by cold calling, generating sales leads, responding to sales inquiries to secure new and increased business accounts to meet established sales targets (prospecting).
  • Coordinate with global account teams to achieve opportunity captures both in-territory and overseas at Key Global Accounts and Strategic Accounts
  • Develop, refine, and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline via the company’s CRM system
  • Follow up on sales leads and assign to sales partners as required, coordinate lead follow-up and feedback to sales support at Dymax.
  • Plan and coordinate informative events for targeted customer audiences that provide compelling information on Dymax technologies, products, and services
  • Deliver periodic, current-year sales forecasts for the territory by customer and product line
  • Identify and help define new product development opportunities that arise at key customers and at key target accounts, and communicate these to both Dymax Marketing and R&D
  • Continuous, personal improvement in professional sales skills, including:

o Market coverage: growth funnel/pipeline, account planning, and account management

o Personal Selling skills: positioning, objection handling, negotiating and closing

o Expertise in Dymax products and customers’ manufacturing processes

o Consultative Solution selling and Value-Added selling

  • Displaying an attitude and behavior reflecting "Service First" at all times.
  • Minimum 50% domestic travel and attendance at trade shows, company
events, management meetings, and other events as demanded by the
business.

Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related discipline strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B direct sales experience in a technical industry, preferable in Medical Device or Aerospace. Experience relating to specialty materials is highly desirable, light curable adhesives is a plus
  • Self-motivated, energetic performer with solid analytical, planning, communication, and computer skills
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proven ability to develop new accounts and new business opportunities
  • Sales in a manufacturing environment
  • Successful experience calling on small companies to large multinational corporations
  • Highly developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment

Technical Competencies
  • Ability to read technical/ engineering drawings
  • Experience in the Aerospace, Medical and Electronics industries desired

  • Micro soft applications, CRM, exposure to ERP systems

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience of related sales industrial experience, preferably from a custom adhesive, chemical, coatings/paint, medical/pharmaceutical/food manufacturing or packaging/dispensing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in a related field of study or equivalent training or experience
  • Above average PC skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office products and windows-based software
  • Experience working with CRM Systems
  • Must be meticulous with above average detail orientation, accuracy and follow-through
  • Ability to be self-directed and individually resourceful, working independently but also within a fast-paced team environment
  • Maintain professionalism at all times and have strong customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic and expanding company
